It will actually be amazing to watch The Match Game-Hollywood Squares Hour in a quality that's not an 11th Generation VHS copy in a tape trade with tracking issues.
I'm hoping that Buzzr will at least air the entire run of the show because lord knows I need all five episodes of the Leave It To Beaver Week with Gallagher. I wonder how this show is going to look with 2019 eyes given the show has never aired in reruns.
This was a bizzare concept on paper and reading some of the behind the scenes stuff in Adam Nedeff's book on Gene Rayburn it's not shocking that it ultimately didn't work since Mark Goodson undercut the Squares portion mostly because he wasn't a fan of how the original series used scripted one-liners with the panelists in advance.
Hoping that between this and Classic Concentration that Fremantle lets some more unseen in ages hidden gems out of their vault for Buzzr.
